About Us
We are a family run operation, first and foremost. My name is Scott
Brazell. Along with my wife and my parents, we, the Brazell
family, run Kobalt Kennels. Kobalt Kennels is comprised of
multiple sires and dams, all blue American Pit Bull Terriers.
My parents bought me my first pit bull when I was 10. She was amazing but the family soon moved to California and we couldn't take Josie with us. I always said I would buy another pit bull. After returning to
Florida, and shortly before marrying Jamie, I bought Kobalt. I am distressed by the bad rap these dogs get. I know that irresponsible breeders are part of the problem. We are determined to ethically raise these dogs and place them in good homes.
We are not in this just for the money, but for the perpetuation of
this noble breed.
We are fortunate to have been helped by knowledgeable
breeders and we want to do the
same for others. We are always willing to share what we have learned with you
and we want to learn from you
as well.
